Of course there are much more but I just don’t want to bore you with watching thousands of music videos. Today I will show you only 5 songs :)

New moon

The volume II of Twilight is in my opinion terribly boring film. I watched it last weekend when I had nothing to do. And when I was watching it I only thought ‘When this film will ends?!’ Its very possible that I think this film is boring because I already read the book on which the movie was based. (and I don’t like the actor who played the role of Edward) I really don’t know what teenager see in this movie. Why they love Edward when he is so unrealistic and whole world in that film is unrealistic!? Do you believe in vampires and werewolves? Many kids believed in it when they seen that strange film. But I don’t believe in that stupidity and no one will tell my that Edward is handsome. But with one I will agree, the music in film was very well-chosen.

Kiss

I’m sure that everyone of you heard a little bit about that music band.

Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons created it in 1973. They play hard rock music but they also have slow songs. My favorites are Forever, Calling Dr. Love, God gave Rock N’ Roll to you, Detroit rock city and I was made for loving you. They are really great! Something special about this band is that everyone, even the drummer can sing. They haven’t got the main singer but in most of the songs sing Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. The characteristic thing of them is that they always put a make up on their faces when they are on the concert.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

I watched this film 2 weeks ago and I really enjoy it. This movie was made by ma favorite film director – Tim Burton. He made it before (in my opinion) one of his best film – Edward Scissorhands. This movie tell the story about Jack, who live in town whose name is “Halloween”. The main character (Jack) don’t like the place where he live and one day he gone to forest. He found there a door to another town – “Christmas”. When he came back he wish he can make a Christmas in his strange town and he did it. But the holiday not goes as it should be. That’s enough about the plot. This film is very similar to another Tim Burton’s movie – Corpse Bride. In my opinion this is a very good film.

Iron Man 2

Today I will write about film that I watched last Saturday. Title of that film is Iron Man II.

In my opinion it’s very good movie. Probably I think that because I watched it after long way to home from Prague. I have been sitting in bus for 10 hours, then I drank 2 coffee. After that I really needed action film with good music. And this film was just so.
Main character was played by Robert Downey Jr. There were also people like Scarlet Johanson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Samuel L. Jackson. I don’t have to write here whole plot of movie, because I think that many of you know it.

If I have to watch it again I would do it.

Danny Elfman

I’m sure that most of you don’t know who he is. But don’t worry, I will tell you. He is one of the best creators of film music.

Because as everyone knows a movie without music is not a film.
He composed music to films such as: Alice in Wonderland, Spider-Man 2, Batman, Ghostbusters 2, Man in Black, Hellboy, Planet of the Apes, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, The Simpsons and much more. When I was bored I counted them about 100!
He isn’t only composing music but he is also adding his voice to films. For example, in “Charlie and The Chocolade Factory” he gave voice to Oompa Loompa. It was a small dwarf who sang and worked at the factory;)
He wrote the music for all films made by Tim Burton, but not to Ed Wood and Sweeney Todd.
In my opinion his best song is “Ice Dance” from Edward Scissorhands and “Alice Thame” from Alice in Wonderland.

My film

Today I’ll write about the movie which I made with my friend. This is a movie for the English competition and of course in English language. We made it with only a small addition of decoration. We concentrated in this little film on the characterization and music. And that was not easy because How to dress (of course in our age) like Batman, The Joker or Harry Potter as much as possible to look like them? The biggest problem I had were with Joker whose role I played. The white color of paint which I had on my face, when it dried up it began to crumble. Fortunately, you can’t see it on the film: P. And I looked very strange with my green hair ...

Ok, I must stop complaining because it gets boring.
My friend Monica was dressed as Batman and Harry. She had a little easier to dress because she had to put the hat and then a batman mask and cap to the pool:)

Marilyn Manson

I know that as you look at this picture you don’t want to read this post but you must understand that I don’t want to make this blog like anyone else.

I want to say straight away that I’m not a big fan of Marilyn!

I’m sure that you think that he is a little bit insane. But in my opinion he just try to show you something different. His real name is Brian Hugh Warner and Marilyn Manson is just his stage name. It comes from Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson. He is known mainly from the controversial image and text. At the beginning of his career he was a journalist and later he made the band Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids. But soon this changed to Marilyn Manson. Interesting is that Brian prepared a cover of the song This Is Halloween from the Tim Burton movie The Nightmare Before Christmas and he made the soundtrack to the Matrix. He wrote the book and has plans to create a film entitled Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll it is going to be a psychological horror. Release date is 2010 so we are waiting As to his songs I think they are a little too anti-religious but the music is ok.

If anyone wants find out something about his music I propose to listen first and then watch the video.

The Dark Knight

Today I should write about a music band but I don’t want to. Anyway, I have no idea about with band I should write. When I have an idea I'll write.

But now I’ll write about the film which is titled “The Dark Knight”. This is another movie of Batman who is always running and catching criminals. This time he must catch the Joker, who rob banks, kill people, put bombs under hospitals and he is always carrying knives and in addition no one can find him. The film isn’t just about the Joker steals and kills to get rich. He wants to prove at any price that even the best man who helps people can change to a person who is going and killing because he lost a loved one. Joker succeeded and won. But Batman hasn’t allowed to that and it can’t came to light. He take all the evil upon himself and that person, nicknamed Two Face man was good and the Batman is bad. He couldn’t admit that a villain won. Although we all know that the Joker was a hundred times better and more astute than Batman.

Okay. It is about the essence of what this movie meant. If anyone hasn’t seen this movie you should watch it, of course, if you aren’t afraid of clowns :). In my opinion the best character in this movie was the Joker and Heath Ledger posthumously should get more awards for this role.

Edward Scissorhands

Today I want to write about an interesting film. This film is Edward Scissorhands. I hope that most people heard a little bit about it. Most of them probably thought it was a very old movie (according to them, an old movie is one that has more than 6 years) and they doesn’t intend to watch because some years ago people didn’t do special effects or 3D. This film is 20 years old. And in my opinion, if this movie could by played now in the theaters, people would buy as many tickets as on the Avatar.
This is my favorite movie. It tells the story of a boy who has been created by the inventor. Only the inventor died before he finished the boy. He forgot to give him hands but he gave him a scissors. One day to his old and destroyed house at the top of the mountain came to him Avon consultant, who takes him to the town.
In my opinion this town look awful. Each house is in a different color, cars are in a different color, everything is in a different color and that stupid neighbors… Its strange. Edward meets there many new friends, enemies, and he also fall in love with a girl named Kim. He has also had many adventures for example breaking into the house. I can’t tell you the whole story. I will just say it was a sad end ... a very sad end...
But its a great movie. Everyone must see it! It is possible that I praised it because, as I mentioned I love Tim Burton movies.

AC/DC

Hi!

Today I will write about some Australian band which last I’m interested in. It is called AC / DC. It was created in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. Most people think this band is a pioneer of hard rock music.

Interesting is the origin of the band's name. I’m sure that you saw this name on any devices or cables. I found a cable with that name behind my TV in the kitchen. So, Angus and Malcolm as they say they found that name on their sisters sewing machine and that name is going to symbolizes the energies of their group.
Some time ago I heard that is going to be their concert with would promote they new album "Black Ice". I wanted to go to Warsaw at the concert but my dad says that he don’t like that band very much and he don’t want to go there.

Injury, but sometimes life is not so nice as we think.

My favorite songs are: TNT, Highway to Hell, Hells Bells.

Sweeney Todd

Today's post will be devote to a movie. I should write about some band music but this film is also associated with music. Its title is Sweeney Todd. It was made by my favorite director Tim Burton and my favorite actor Johnny Depp. This film tells the story of a barber from London. Some days ago another guy took his wife and child from him. Now the barber who is really called Benjamin Backer, but presents himself as Sweeney Todd, taking revenge on everyone who comes to shave. And he is doing it to find the one who took his daughter. Those unlucky people who do not survive the meeting with Mr Todd's razor are processed by Mrs. Lovett to ... Stop! I can’t tell you the whole story of movie ! But if you want to see how Johnny sings you must see this film. My favorite song is called "My friends". Sweeney sings it with Mrs. Lovett.
I think this is a really great movie!

Alice in Wonderland

Hi!

Today I write about a film where I was two times and is very possible that I will go for the third time. This film is "Alice in Wonderland" by Tim Burton. I’m sure that most of you read the abbreviated version of the Lewis Carroll book. So here I do not have to write the whole summary of the story.

This film, however, is not exactly a reflection of the book to the screen its just writing it from the beginning. For example, in the book Alice is 6 years old and in the film Alice is 19 years old.

It is possible that I like this movie so much because I love all movies made by Burton with Johnny Depp and with Danny Elfman music. In this film, Johnny played the cool role - the Mad Hatter. In one of the last scene he started dance and I fortunately no threw my popcorn at the person sitting in front of me. ;)
